max and i have been watching a robin's nest in our front yard. today we enjoyed observing the mama robin teaching her baby how to fly. for hours, she would feed him, fly a few feet away and start calling for him. when other birds would come around, she would shoo them off. she seemed a bit frazzled and nervous exposing her little one to this new stage of life.
we mommies are all the same!!
