this is max meeting some pups that we are thinking about adopting as our own. adam rescued these 2 sweeties from the busy street last night...not knowing that our pals down the street, cass and brian, had rescued them earlier in the day from an office lot, but the pups escaped their fence (see my facebook for the unfolding of the full doggie drama!). they obviously have come from an unfortunate situation and need a loving home. they appear to be a mom and son and are super close and sooooo sweet...they won't leave each other's side. we have talked about getting a dog(s) for a long time, but have always put it off for one reason or another. the timing is not the best for us right now, with a home that seems to be getting smaller by the day and baby #2 on the way, but the greatest (and toughest!) lesson i've learned as a mom is that life is much sweeter when you relinquish trying to control everything and just roll with the punches.
