today, we brought wellesley home from the hospital! because of the h1n1 outbreak, children were not allowed to visit the hospital, so this was max's first time meeting his new baby sister...

beeeeee gentle! max has heard this a lot with the cats, so he knows to be very careful with wellesley (well, except for the time he poked her in the eye!?).

we missed you so much, max, and are glad to have our little fam finally together! you are going to be the BEST big brother!
ps - a special thanks to grandma and grandpa shearer and the za-parents for helping with max during my stay in the hospital. you guys are the best!
