the celebrations continued today as we threw a firetruck themed birthday bash for max in the afternoon!

the highlight of the afternoon was a visit from engine 64 of the charlotte fire department. this truck passes by our house every day and max loves to run to the window to watch the lights and hear the siren. what fun it was to watch his reaction when the truck came to visit HIM!
At first, he was a little apprehensive...
but then he was willing to get on board.

the best part was when they drove off and blared the sirens and lights. max's little face says it all!
what a wonderful celebration for the most awesome two year old around!!!
