the kids and i took a morning field trip out to the airport to watch the planes takeoff. it was the first time max and wellesley have seen planes close-up. they were both pretty fascinated - especially wells, despite how she appears in the photos! the cutest part was when max patted wells on the back and said, "don't be scared...planes are just loud."
